![]() ![]() I barely even like playing Civ V in 16:9 due to that. Love PC gaming and looked into emulators to replay my favorites. However I moved to PC gaming and have an RX570 and Ryzen R5 2600x. ![]() Duckstation has made amazing progress but it is not quite at the point where I'd use it instead of ePSXe. The Grandia Undub has audio slowdown and glitches in Duckstation that do not appear in the other two mentioned emulators. Maybe they dont understand how it works, like. The Euro version of Final Fantasy IX for example will not load in Duckstation but runs perfectly in ePSXe (and in FPSe). Theyre also not the main authors of PGXP. the devs of both Duckstation and Beetle have no interest in trying to find and fix the cause for just the few games that have issues. I still have all my PS1, PS2, and PS3 consoles and discs. Dithering pattern: off lottes-multipassinterlacedglow shader. I didnt read other comments so sorry if this was already brought up. That's not an issue for me in most other games. Looks great and runs well on Duckstation emulator. I don't have to turn my head - though I do find it uncomfortable when playing games like Civilization V that have menus placed at the far left and right sides of the screen. Simply go to ‘Settings -> Controllers’ in the menu and you will open the controller settings window. I can comfortably sit at exactly the same distance as a 16:9 display, which means that it fills out more of my peripheral vision. I agree that 32:9 is too wide though - that's a display designed to replace a dual-monitor setup for productivity, not for gaming (despite being marketed that way now).ģ2:9 is wide enough that it forces me to sit further from the display - so it ends up feeling smaller than 16:9 or 21:9 due to the reduced height. I love the option to go back to older games in wider aspect ratios - though the HUD stretching is too extreme for many of them since it's often 4:3 stretched out to almost double its width in 21:9. I feel like this was already possible in RetroArch/Beetle PSX, but either way, the screenshots look great.
